Abba released a new album which I had absolutely no idea about, I thought they only had their old hit songs.  I understand why people don't like Abba, but I used to be one of these people.  Hopefully, I don't get hate for this, because they have actually grown on me.  There was actually an Abba cover band at forever red, and the songs were so fun to dance to.  I have never watched any of the mama mia movies, but I knew about their songs because they are so classic and popular you don't have to have watched the movies to know about their songs.  I also did not know that ABBA is an acronym for the different first letters of the band's first name.  I am just now realizing that I only really knew of this band...

UNITY Queen Latifah

This song carries a very powerful message.  A lot of the things mentioned in this song are about how disrespectful women are treated in society.  It's easy to hear the catchy 90's R&B beat behind it and not pay attention to the message of this song.  However, I do like how Queen Latifah is confronted when many women go through on the daily with the way men treat them.  She mentions in this song about men beating women and exploiting their bodies, which are two big problems women experience.  So because of this, I love the women standing up for themselves, it's so empowering.  I do think this is very controversial but whether you like it or not, it's the reality of the experience of being a woman.  You really don't truly understand this unless you are a woman.  I gladly listen to this song because I love 90's - 2000's R&B music so this song was very much something I would listen to outside of this class.  My favorite part of this...
