Taking a Chance on Love
This song starts off by having almost a minute of instrumental before the singer starts singing. The instrumental part really interacts with the lyrics because the instruments sound like they are singing the part where it says "Taking a Chance on Love". So, after the initial instrumental part, in the beginning, the lyrical singing comes in and it makes sense because of the tone that was already set. I feel like this is a song someone would be singing about their crush in a field of flowers. So this also gives off a very hopeful tone because they are singing about taking a chance on love. That person is hoping that the chance they are taking is going to pay off.

There is also a sound in here from one of the instruments that give me a Christmas song vibe. There's an instrument that I hear in this song (I'm not sure which one) but it sounds like the same instrument from "Santa Claus is coming to town". I also love Christmas time and the music, so this song really relates to the Christmas music genre I love. My favorite part of the song is the ending when the singing part is over and it's just the instruments. I feel like the song also has a lovey-dovey vibe to it. So the whole theme totally matches.
I totally agree that the first part of the song with the instruments sounds just like the lyrics that she sings. It adds a lot to the songs in my eyes because of that. I enjoyed the song it seemed pretty positive and happy. I enjoyed her happy tone with music.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the imagery that you chose to convey with this song. I had not listened to it previously so I listened to it as I read your blog and the picture you painted fit so perfectly with the songs vibe. I think that the instruments played a big role when it comes to making this song the vibe it is.
